NY Route 17/ Interstate 86 --- From the West Exit using Exit 61 right onto Cayuta Avenue in Waverly, NY. Follow Cayuta Avenue as it becomes Spring Street in Sayre, PA. It curves around, passing the Best Western/Victorian Inn on the right and Williams Auto Company on the left. At the intersection of Spring Street and Mohawk Street, turn left onto North Lehigh Avenue. Follow North Lehigh Avenue seven blocks to Downtown Sayre. As you approach downtown, you will see the former Lehigh Valley Railroad Passenger Station, NOW OUR MUSEUM, ahead of you. (The building is the one pictured on this website in the left corner.) Once at the intersection of North Lehigh Avenue and West Lockhart Street, you will make a “dog leg” turn to the left on to South Lehigh Avenue, passing a LVRR caboose on display on the left. At the Intersection of Spring Street and Mohawk Street, turn left onto North Lehigh Avenue. Follow North Lehigh Avenue seven blocks to Downtown Sayre. Once at the intersection of Lehigh Avenue and West Lockhart Street, you will make a “dog leg” turn to the left to South Lehigh Avenue, the museum will remain in your view. Proceed to the museum where there is curbside parking available. PA Route 220 --- From the North and the South Exit using the Athens, PA exit to the traffic signal at intersection of North Elmira Street and West Pine Street. Cross North Elmira Street onto West Pine Street. Proceed six blocks counting the right hand streets to the traffic signal at the intersection with North Main Street. Cross North Main Street and continue three blocks up to the railroad tracks at North River Street. Turn left onto North River Street, the railroad tracks remaining on the right and proceed four blocks. After Frederick Street, you will enter Sayre Borough and be on South Lehigh Avenue. Proceed six blocks to the museum (which is the former Lehigh Valley Railroad Passenger Station and is pictured on this website in the left corner). Curbside parking is available.
