Why Sayre? The museum fulfills our Mission by “telling Sayre’s story” of its development and growth and of its people. As you walk through the museum’s first gallery, the displays begin with telling how Sayre developed, including the three men who were instrumental at that time in its development: Howard Elmer, Robert Packer and Robert Sayre.
